Doplňujúce pedagogické štúdium pre študentov
Doplňujúce pedagogické štúdium (DPŠ) pre študentov je určené pre študentov druhého stupňa vysokoškolského štúdia v neučiteľských študijných programoch študijného odboru ekonómia a manažment realizovaných na všetkých fakultách Ekonomickej univerzity v Bratislave.
Prihlasovať sa naň môžu priebežne po celý rok študenti 3. ročníka bakalárskeho štúdia (po zvážení individuálnych okolností a schválení garantom DPŠ výnimočne aj študenti 2. ročníka bakalárskeho štúdia, príp. 1. ročníka inžinierskeho štúdia) doručením vyplnenej prihlášky v písomnej podobe garantovi DPŠ na Kompetenčnom centre NHF EUBA (4C21) alebo v elektronickej forme mailom zaslaným na adresu: . V prípade väčšieho počtu záujemcov, než kapacity umožnia prijať do nového kurzu, budú uchádzači pozvaní na výberový rozhovor, ktorý sa uskutoční spravidla v máji alebo júni pred začiatkom príslušného akademického roka. Prijatým uchádzačom oznámime informácie o prijatí na DPŠ a ďalšom postupe mailom na adresu uvedenú v prihláške zvyčajne najneskôr koncom júna pred začiatkom príslušného akademického roka.
Samotné štúdium trvá štyri semestre a realizuje sa súbežne so štúdiom na vlastnom študijnom programe. Výučba sa realizuje blokovým spôsobom spravidla 6-krát za semester, a to vo vybrané pondelky v čase od 8.00 do 16.45 hod. Súčasťou štúdia je aj vykonanie pedagogickej praxe na cvičných stredných školách Ekonomickej univerzity v Bratislave.
DPŠ sa ukončuje obhajobou záverečnej práce a vykonaním záverečnej skúšky z predmetov všeobecná pedagogika, psychológia a didaktika ekonomických predmetov pred skúšobnou komisiou.
Poplatok za účasť na vzdelávaní v rámci DPŠ je vo výške 320,– € za semester. V poplatku za štúdium je obsiahnuté aj zabezpečenie pedagogickej praxe na cvičných školách.

Štúdium je vhodné pre uchádzačov, ktorí:
- učia na stredných školách,
- plánujú učiť na stredných, prípadne vysokých školách,

Department of Pedagogy (DP) was established at the University of Economics in July 1961. The establishment of this department resulted from the need of preparing graduates economists, who could teach economic subjects in secondary schools after their graduation. DP was established by prof. Ing. Ondrej Peter, CSc. a PhDr. Hellady Klasová, CSc.
The Department of Pedagogy in the early years of its existence worked 3 – 4 internal teachers, therefore, the preparation of future teachers of economic subjects in a separate study program did not begin immediately, but only in the additional pedagogical study in external form.
Study of teaching economic subjects in study program began in 1966/1967.
Since the academic year 2005/2006, DP has organized in the following forms of study:
- Bachelor’s study: Teachers education of practical economic subjects
- Master´s study: Teachers education of specialized economic subjects
- Doctoral study: Theory of economic education
At present, DP realizes study of teacher of economic subjects in accordance with Directive of the Ministry of Education no. 581/2007 Z. z. about additional pedagogical study for full-time students of all faculties of the University of Economics in Bratislava and part-time for economic graduates with university education who teach or want to teach in secondary schools and have no pedagogical qualifications.
In addition, the Department of Pedagogy realizes extended course for teachers of administration and correspondence.
DP has educated in all forms of study more than 2300 teachers of economic subjects for all types of secondary schools, where the economic subjects are taught.
Department has realized also educational, psychological and didactic training for young beginning teachers of all faculties of the University of Economics in Bratislava called "Pedagogical minimum."
Teachers of the department are significantly involved in the creation of the curricula for secondary schools, especially for business academies in SR. DP also cooperates with the National Institute of Vocational Education, with scientific research institutes and economic praxis in Slovakia. Especially with Departments of Pedagogy of another universities and regional methodical pedagogical centers in Slovakia. DP cooperate also with four secondary schools called faculty training schools. There work 13 teachers as external collaborates.
In the last decade, department has solved six research projects, including 1 VEGA, 4 KEGA projects and one ESF project. Research projects have focused on the process of globalization and sustainable development as an integral part of education, on innovation of the curricula and textbooks for secondary schools. Also to implement the requirements of the regional labor market in economic education, support to business thinking in the education, including the promotion of financial literacy for secondary school students .
Outcomes and refereed research tasks were presented in a rich publication activity of teachers (6 university textbooks, 15 monographs and more than 20 textbooks for secondary schools and many articles in academic research journals, etc.).
DP also develops contacts with foreign universities, shares experiences, study visits, exchanges literature and joint research outcomes.
Department of Pedagogy have also departments or sections for whole university and for Slovak republic. Since 1992 it has provided psychological counseling service, for students of the University of Economics in Bratislava. In 1991, the Center of fictitious firms that were later translated into Slovak Centre for Training Firms was established there. DP provides services of tax office trainer and health insurance trainer for all training firms in secondary schools in Slovakia.
From 1 February 1998 working with the Department of Pedagogy also the Centre for Drug and consultancy services established in accordance with the National Programme for the Activities against Drugs.

The Department of Pedagogy provides qualified training for teachers of specialized economic subjects for all kinds and types of secondary schools, where economic subjects are taught. The following types of study are currently being carried out:
- supplementary pedagogical study
- in internal form (concurrent – for students of Master studies at the UE in Bratislava),
- in external form (follow-up for graduates of Master study);
- extending study for administration and correspondence teachers;
- continuous training of primary and secondary school teachers
- methodology for making business plans for secondary school pupils- updating education,
- current issues of teaching specialized economic subjects – updating – preparatory and prior to the 2nd attestation
- pedagogical education of university teachers at UE in Bratislava (UE rector´s internal regulation no 3/2014).
In addition to the above-mentioned training activities, the Department provides the following selection courses for individual bachelor study programs at the Faculty of National Economy: a training company (both in Slovak and German), creation of professional work and presentation skills, traineeship in psychology.
Department of Pedagogy at the FNE UE in Bratislava as a successor organization after the abolition of the National Institute of Stenography in Bratislava carries out national tests in writing on the computer and correspondence, as well as the state testing in master writing on the computer and correspondence. The state exam can be carried out by pupils of secondary schools and higher vocational schools, university students and other candidates.
In its scientific research activity, the Department focuses on pedagogy-psychological and didactic aspects of the educational process at secondary schools and universities. Current research tasks focus on the content and organizational changes of economic school system in terms of the social and ecologically-oriented market economy of the SR, the position of teachers of specialized economic subjects in the process of socio-economic changes in society and the innovation of the education system and further education system of teachers with a focus on teaching economic subjects for secondary schools.

Kompetenčné centrum Národohospodárskej fakulty Ekonomickej univerzity v Bratislave realizuje:

Účelom štátnej skúšky z písania na počítači a korešpondencie a štátnej skúšky z majstrovského písania na počítači a korešpondencie je preveriť a zhodnotiť úroveň vedomostí, zručností a návykov žiakov a absolventov stredných škôl, študentov vysokých škôl, resp. ďalších záujemcov z hospodárskej praxe.
Štátna skúška z písania na počítači a korešpondencie pozostáva z dvoch častí:
- časť: 10-minútový odpis – žiaci musia mať rýchlosť najmenej 200 čistých úderov za minútu s minimálnou presnosťou odpisu 99,50 %,
- časť: vyhotovenie dvoch druhov písomností v normalizovanej úprave v súlade s STN 01 6910 a STN 88 6101 v stanovenom časovom limite.
Štátna skúška z majstrovského písania na počítači korešpondencie
Na štátnej skúške z majstrovského písania na počítači a korešpondencie preukazuje uchádzač vedomosti účinne používať klávesnicu v náročnejšej administratívnej a korešpondenčnej praxi, a to overením zručností a návykov:
- písať na klávesnici rýchlosťou najmenej 350 čistých úderov za minútu a aspoň 99,50 percentnou presnosťou,
- upraviť základné druhy písomností z oblasti obchodnej korešpondencie normalizovaným spôsobom.
Štátna skúška z majstrovského písania na počítači a korešpondencie sa skladá:
- z jedného 20-minútového odpisu predloženého textu,
- z korešpondenčnej časti, a to z normalizovaného vypracovania dvoch rôznych obchodných písomností podľa zadaných dispozícií v časovom limite 60 minút (obchodný list a tabuľka).
Organizácia skúšok
Štátne skúšky z písania na počítači a korešpondencie odborne, organizačne a technicky zabezpečuje Kompetenčné centrum NHF EU v Bratislave v spolupráci s externými členmi komisie pre štátne skúšky a s Nadáciou Národohospodár.
Hlavným garantom štátnych skúšok je garant kvalifikačného vzdelávania na Ekonomickej univerzite v Bratislave doc. Ing. Jaromír Novák, PhD. Odborným garantom je vyučujúca rozširujúceho štúdia na vyučovanie administratívy a korešpondencie – Ing. Anna Kúbeková, PhD., predsedníčka komisie pre štátne skúšky, ktorá zabezpečuje ich obsahovú a odbornú stránku.
Komisia pre každý termín konania štátnej skúšky je 3-členná (predsedníčka komisie a 2 členovia z komisie pre štátne skúšky).
Podmienkou vykonania štátnej skúšky je úspešne vykonať obe časti skúšky.
O úspešnom vykonaní štátnej skúšky vydá Kompetenčné centrum NHF EU v Bratislave vysvedčenie.
Klasifikácia odpisu závisí od dosiahnutého percenta presnosti:
STUPNICA:
% chýb do 0,15 známka A – výborne (vynikajúce výsledky)
% chýb do 0,30 známka B – veľmi dobre (nadpriemerné výsledky)
% chýb do 0,50 známka C – dobre (priemerné výsledky)
Organizačne štátne skúšky zabezpečuje Kompetenčné centrum NHF EU v Bratislave v spolupráci s Nadáciou Národohospodár, prostredníctvom ktorej sú organizované aj všetky príjmy a výdavky spojené s ich vykonávaním.
Každý uchádzač, ktorý sa zúčastní štátnej skúšky:
- z písania na počítači a korešpondencie, zaplatí 25,– €,
- z majstrovského písania na počítači a korešpondencie, zaplatí 35,– €.

Kompetenčné centrum Národohospodárskej fakulty Ekonomickej univerzity v Bratislave ako nástupnícka organizácia po zrušenom Štátnom stenografickom ústave v Bratislave vykonáva štátne skúšky z písania na počítači a korešpondencie (ďalej štátne skúšky).
Štátne skúšky sa skladajú z 10-minútového odpisu predloženého súvislého textu v textovom procesore MS Word s možnosťou korektúry a vypracovania dvoch písomností (obchodného listu a tabuľky) podľa predloženého zadania. Na vyhotovenie písomností v normalizovanej úprave majú účastníci 60 minút.
S účinnosťou od 1. decembra 2023 sú v platnosti revidované normy STN 01 6910 Pravidlá písania a úpravy písomností a STN 88 6101 Predtlač listových papierov na úradné a obchodné listy. Žiaci píšu list a tabuľku na ŠS podľa revidovaných noriem.
Účelom štátnej skúšky z písania na počítači a korešpondencie je preveriť a zhodnotiť úroveň vedomostí, zručností, návykov a schopností z administratívy a korešpondencie. Obsah štátnej skúšky pozostáva z dvoch častí, v ktorých sa overujú zručnosti účastníkov
- písať rýchlosťou najmenej 200 čistých úderov za minútu s minimálnou presnosťou odpisu 99,50 %,
- vyhotoviť dva druhy písomností v normalizovanej úprave v stanovenom časovom limite.
Štátnu skúšku môžu vykonať žiaci a absolventi stredných škôl, prípadne ďalší absolventi z hospodárskej praxe.
Štátne skúšky sa uskutočňujú na školách, ktoré požiadajú Kompetenčné centrum o ich usporiadanie, pričom je potrebné, aby počet účastníkov bol najmenej 15. Vykonávajú sa pod osobným dohľadom členov štátnicovej komisie. Poplatok za vykonanie štátnej skúšky je 25,– eur za účastníka.
Prihlášku na štátne skúšky, v ktorej sa uvedie predbežný počet záujemcov a požadovaný termín konania, treba poslať na adresu Kompetenčné centrum NHF EU v Bratislave, Dolnozemská cesta 1, 852 35 Bratislava 5 alebo elektronickou formou na mailovú adresu . Po potvrdení termínu konania štátnej skúšky dostane príslušná škola podrobnejšie informácie elektronicky.
V prípade neúspešného pokusu je možné opakovať štátnu skúšku aj na inej škole bez časových obmedzení.

The Department of Insurance and the Insurance Industry was established by the separation from the Department of Finance at the University of Economics on 1990. Head of the Department was doc. Ing. Margita Laučíková, CSc. till 31st December 1990. From 1st January 1991 head of the Department was doc. Ing. Viktória Čejková, CSc. Because of organizational changes at Faculty of National Economy realized in 1991, the Department of Insurance and the Insurance Industry merged with the Department of the Currency, Credit and Banking and formed the Department of Banking. Within this department, the Section of Insurance Industry was created with the head doc. Ing. Viktória Čejková, CSc. for the period 1991 – 1995. From 1995 to 1998, head of the Section of Insurance Industry was doc. Ing. Anna Majtánová, PhD. Personnel of the Section of Insurance Industry responded to the demands of financial practices and continuously prepared documents for accreditation of the study specialization Insurance. In the academic year 1997/1998, the Slovak Ministry of Education accredited study and science specialization Insurance Industry and then on 1st February 1998 was established the Department of Insurance at the Faculty of National Economy. The base composition of the new department personnel were teachers of the Section of Insurance Industry from the Department of Banking. Head of department from its inception to present is prof. Ing. Anna Majtánová, PhD. The Department of Insurance provides study at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd level of study.
Number of graduated PhD. students at the Department of Insurance in the specialization Insurance is eight.
The department provides the following courses:
- university courses: Finance and Currency,
- faculty compulsory courses: Theory of Insurance,
- compulsory courses of the study program: Financial Analysis of Insurance Companies, Marketing of Insurance, Business Insurance, Business of Commercial Insurance Companies, Insurance of International Risks, Insurance Market, Special Seminar, Accounting in Insurance Companies, Reinsurance, Life Insurance, Theory of Insurance, Insurance Market and Marketing, Analysis of Financial Statements of Insurance Companies.
The attention on the courses of the insurance and the insurance industry and research in these areas were conducted at the University of Economics in Bratislava also before the formation of a separate department. The founding generation of teachers of this scientific orientation includes prof. Ing. Milan Majcher, DrSc. prof. Ing. Vladimír Háčik, DrSc. a prof. Ing. Ján Petrenka, CSc. Since 1960, in particular doc. Ing. Ján Horňák, CSc. and doc. Ing. Margita Laučíková, CSc. focused on the issue of insurance. In the seventies and eighties, the insurance theory developed in the study specialization Finance at the Department of Finance at Faculty of National Economy, where also teachers who taught the issue of insurance were included.

The Department of Insurance has a rich scientific and research activities. In the past, the department dealt with the VEGA projects such as Segmentation of the insurance market, Improving the system of technical provisions and solvency of insurance companies, Current problems of insurance industry in the Slovak Republic during the process of market liberalization, Development trends in insurance coverage of life and non-life risks, The impact of globalization and integration of the Slovak insurance market II, also KEGA project New economy - e-learning courses.
Currently solved VEGA projects are: Impacts and consequences of financial crisis at insurance industry and Perspectives for the insurance market of the Slovak Republic in the lines of civilization challenges.
The Department of Insurance intensive cooperate particularly with the Department of Finance at University of Economics in Prague and with several foreign universities - Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Cracow University of Economics, University of Economics in Katowice, Masaryk University in Brno, Mendel University in Brno, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Silesian University in Opava, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava. Cooperation is based mainly on joint projects, notably with the Czech Republic, participation in international conferences, exchange of teaching and research expertise, etc. The results are joint monographs, scholarly articles, and international scientific conferences. Teachers of the Department of Insurance participate in international exchange programs.
The Department of Insurance co-operate with practice, especially with commercial insurance companies, the Slovak Association of Insurance Companies, the National Bank of Slovakia, the Ministry of Finance and other institutions.

The Department of Insurance in the current form has been in its existence since the 1st of February 1998 at the Faculty of National Economy at the University of Economics in Bratislava. Its profile is unique in the Slovak context because it is the only independent department of insurance in the Slovak Republic.
The pedagogical profile of the department is aimed at preparing experts for a specific area of financial relations-insurance. The graduates are offered a wide employment opportunities on the labor market, in the positions of middle and senior management. The pedagogical process is closely linked to practice through the cooperating institutions (National Bank of Slovakia, SwissRe, Allianz-Slovak insurance Company, KPMG Slovakia, Deloitte, COOPERATIVE Insurance Company, and others).
In terms of scientific research, the members of the Department focus on the development of the insurance market in the context of both demand and supply, on monitoring the decision-making of entities on insurance issues with a focus on consumer. Research also stresses the issue of regulation and supervision of insurance, as well as the effectiveness of insurance operations. The members of the Department with experts from renowned universities work together to address the following issues (we mention some of them: University of Arkansas, University of Hohenheim, University of Strasbourg, The University of Hong Kong, University of Alaska Anchorage, Chulalongkorn University, Temple University.

Department of Labour was created at the College of Economics in Bratislava in 1964 when Department of National Economic Planning split into three departments: Department of Fundamentals of National Economic Planning, Department of Labour and Department of Investments. Department of Labour focused on a wide range of labour issues and provided education at the Institute of National Economic Planning and in the field of study National Economic Planning.
In 1968 two separate departments merged into Department of Labour and Investments, which was joined with two other departments – Department of National Economic Planning and Department of Prices. This resulted in creation of Department of National Economic Planning and Prices which had three sections:
Section of National Economic Planning:
- Section of Prices
- Section of Labour.
Between 1970 and 1990 the Section of Labour provided study of labour issues with emphasis on national economic aspects of this field.
Reorganization of the faculty in 1990 resulted in creation of Department of Employment and Social Development, which a year later became a part of created Department of Economic Policy. In 1992 the Section of Social Development and Labour separated from Department of Economic Policy and thus the Department of Social Development and Labour was created, which exists in this form up to the present. New social and socio-economic conditions required elaboration of a new conception of study and gradually the curriculum has been adapted and a number of new subjects have been created.
Department of Social Development and Labour currently guarantees the study programme "Human Resources and Social Management" in Bachelor’s degree of study, and study programme "Social Development and Social Policy" in Master’s degree of study. The department also provides doctoral studies at Faculty of National Economy.
Within the field of study National Economy the department provides the following compulsory subjects: Social Policy and Development, Employment Theory and Policy, Social Security, Personal management and development of human resources, Knowledge management, Social Labour, Quality of Life, European Social Policy, Education Economics, Health Policy, Methodology for Creation of Projects and 6 optional subjects for students of Faculty of National Economy at University of Economics in Bratislava. The department offers students some subjects taught in a foreign language as well. Teachers at the department pursue their pedagogical activities not only at the Faculty of National Economy, but also at other faculties within the University of Economics.
Department of Social Development and Labour pays great attention to PhD. students as well.
All the subjects guaranteed by the department are covered with study literature provided by the departments’ teachers.

Department of Social Development and Labour has also two professors emeritus: Prof. Ing. Jozef Mihálik, DrSc., and Prof. PhDr. Ivan Laluha, CSc.
Science research activities at the department in the 1970s and 1980s focused on the fields of labour, social policy and development of human resources. The department participated in the national plan of fundamental research, research programmes of ministries, and it was in close cooperation with Czechoslovak Labour Research Institute and Ministry of Labour. After 1990 the department members joined in the foreign research project "Labour Market and Social Cosequences of Economic Reform in the Slovak Republic" and the project of EU-ACE Brussels "European Human Resource Manager" with the participation of professors from universities in Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Poland. The lead coordinator of these research projects was prof. Ing. Jozef Mihalik DrSc., who was the head of the department at that time. In the recent years the scientific research of the department has been focusing on three main areas:
- theoretical and practical problems of social development,
- theoretical and practical problems of individual elements of social development with emphasis on labour market, social security, HR management and quality of life,
- economic and social environment in the process of globalization at present and in the future.
The output of science research activities in the last five years includes successful completion of six VEGA projects, one project of European Social Fund, a research project of the European Commission, several internal grant projects and one Internal grant of young research workers. In 2008 the department members participated in creation of Vision and Strategy of Development of the Slovak Society for the Slovak government. Currently there are four ongoing VEGA projects and two IGPMVP projects.
The output of science research was used in pedagogical process and elaborated in monographs, university textbooks, scientific papers published both in SR and abroad, contributions presented at international scientific conferences, and in national and foreign scientific and academic magazines.
In its pedagogical and scientific research activities the department uses also external colleagues from central administrative bodies, Slovak Academy of Sciences, foreign universities, as well as research institutions. Every year the department organizes international scientific conferences with the participation of prominent practitioners and experts from Slovak and foreign universities. Department of Social Development and Labour cooperates with several foreign universities including the University of Economics, Prague (Czech Republic), Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republic), Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary), Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria) and Afyon kocatepe Universitesi (Turkey).
The department in its more than 40 years’ history has developed a unique study programme and has been preparing experts in the field of labour and social development who exercise their skills at all levels of public administration.
