Blended Internsive Programme „TOPSIM Business Simulation“
Programme will take place in cooperation with universities from 3 countries: Bratislava University of Economics and Business and University of SS. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava (Slovakia), Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), and Hochschule Heilbronn (Germany).
Upon successful completion of the BIP, students will be awarded 6 credits.
Content focus of BIP TOPSIM Business Simulation
As members of an international team, students will make operational and strategic decisions for a given company based on the business information provided and their analysis. Team members will divide the tasks they will perform in the company, i.e., who is the financial director, who is the marketing director, etc., and based on their expertise, they will manage their department and coordinate their decisions with other members of the group. Developing and implementing marketing strategies, building a financial strategy, and using management accounting/planning tools such as cost calculation will be their daily work during the course. Managing and motivating the workforce at an effective level, taking into account production capacities, will complement their managerial tasks.
Dates
- The virtual part will take place online (Zoom) on March 9, 2026, and March 13, 2026, in the afternoon (13.00 – 16.00). Besides, there will be individual consultations on March 11, 2026 (13.00 – 16.00)
- Physical participation: March 16-20, 2026
Venue: NHF EUBA
Final project: Evaluation of the results of the simulation game after completion of the physical participation program. Details will be explained during the program

Credits awarded and assessment
Number of ECTS credits awarded: 6 (BIP is carried out as part of VP Business Simulation 2)
Main language of instruction/training: English at level B2, as described in the Council of Europe's "European Language Portfolio"
The conditions for obtaining 6 ECTS are:
- Complete the virtual part of the program (online)
- Participate in activities during the physical attendance program at NHF EUBA – simulation game
- Submit the final project according to the instructions of the mentors (teachers from 4 cooperating universities)
