We are pleased to inform you that our annual recruitment programme for recent undergraduates, the Young Associates Programme (YAP), is now open for applications.
A key objective of the YAP is to provide recent Bachelor’s graduates with professional experience in the core work of the OECD as well as to provide mentoring opportunities for a limited two year period, thereby acting as a springboard for further studies in competitive postgraduate programmes following completion of the Programme. Since 2017, the YAP has attracted motivated, diverse, enthusiastic and high performing candidates who aspire to gain substantive professional experiences in the sphere of multilateral policymaking, research and analysis. Many go on to study in some of the highest rated institutions in the world and some have returned to the OECD following their postgraduate studies.
We are very keen to attract talented candidates among your students and would be grateful if you could share this opportunity with current or recent Bachelor’s students who have obtained or expect to obtain a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent between January 2021 and September 2022.
Please note that to be eligible for the YAP 2022-24 round, candidates must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree with graduation date between January 2021 and September 2022. Applications from candidates who already hold or are enrolled in a Master’s, PhD, or equivalent degree will not be considered;
- Hold a nationality of an OECD Member country. Applications from candidates who are not OECD Member country nationals will not be considered;
- Demonstrate overall academic achievement;
- Have fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a commitment to reach a good working level of the other;
- Be able to contribute as a YA in the respective area of work, as well as have motivation to pursue a graduate degree in a relevant field after completing the Programme, including how the YAP will help achieve this;
- Be able to start the Programme in September 2022 for the two-year assignment.
We advertised the following eight Young Associates’ assignments for the 2022-24 round. Please also refer to the list of current vacancies for detailed descriptions of the assignments. The deadline to apply is 19 December 2021.
