Short bio: 

Katarina is an Assistant Researcher in the Department of Economic Policy at UEBA, specialising in labour economics with a focus on labour dynamics. She also holds a position at the Institute for Financial Policy at the Ministry of Finance, where she has developed strong expertise in evaluating microdata, particularly administrative data from social security records, unemployment registers, and matched employer-employee data. This expertise is used to enhance her research on labour market dynamics and policy evaluation. Katarina holds a doctorate from the Vienna University of Economics. In Vienna, she worked with the Research Group for Labour Market and Social Policy at the Institute for Advanced Studies. She also served as an analyst at the Ministry of Labour in Slovakia and gained research experience as a junior fellow at the National Bank of Slovakia and the Austrian Institute for Economic Research.
