Michal Rimeš je členom katedry financií od septembra 2022. Pôsobí na Ekonomickej univerzite od roku 2022, najprv ako interný doktorand a od roku 2025 ako odborný asistent na Katedre financií Národohospodárskej fakulty. Nosnými oblasťami výskumu sú znižovanie negatívnych externalít pomocou daňovej politiky, vplyv spotrebných daní na spotrebu a vplyv daňovej politiky na finančné ukazovatele domácností a firiem. Vyučuje odborné predmety na I. a II. stupni štúdia.
Michal Rimeš has been a member of the Department of Finance since September 2022. He has been working at the University of Economics since 2022, first as an internal doctoral student and since 2025 as an assistant professor at the Department of Finance of the Faculty of National Economy. The main areas of research are the reduction of negative externalities through tax policy, the impact of excise taxes on consumption and the impact of tax policy on financial indicators of households and companies. He teaches professional subjects at the I. and II. levels of study.
