Summer Program 2019 of El Colegio de México

The Embassy of Mexico is pleased to send herewith the call for the “International Summer Program” of El Colegio de México. This cultural exchange and international education program aims mainly at students and bachelor/graduate degree students of social studies or humanities (Mexicans and other nationalities); but also high school senior year students are accepted.

The program will take place from July 1^st to August 1^st 2019 in Mexico City. The courses are held in English and aimed at analyzing Mexico's and Latin America's reality in the different fields of study at the university's investigation centers (History, Linguistics, Politics, Economy, Environment and Climate Change, Population and Urbanization). Please take note that the participants can choose no more than four subjects and that they will participate in cultural excursions in Mexico City. In addition to the theorical subjects, there will be a Spanish foreign language course (Elementary-A1, Basic-A2 and Intermediate-B1).

In order to be accepted, the interested students must fill out the electronic inscription form and send it together with the following documents as PDF via email to .

1. Certificate or diploma of the last year, with a list of the final grades (in Spanish)
2. Brief CV (no more than 2 pages, in English)
3. Letter explaining the candidate's interest in the program and the importance of the program for his/her academic or professional career (no more than 2 pages, in English)
4. Recommendation letter of a professor or director of his/her education institute.

The accepted students will be contacted via email and must confirm their participation in the Program within five days. A list of the costs is sent attached, along with the Program's calendar and the teaching subjects in Summer 2019.
