The Faculty of Economics and Finance of the Bratislava University of Economics and Business (NHF EUBA) welcomed participants of the international BIP Erasmus+ TOPSIM Business Simulation, a joint initiative created in cooperation with Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland and Hochschule Heilbronn in Germany.
Over the course of five intensive days, 85 students took part in a dynamic business simulation, where they worked in international teams and assumed different roles within a virtual company from marketing and finance to production. Based on available business data and analyses, they made both operational and strategic decisions. The programme concluded with an evaluation of the results and the announcement of the best-performing team.
BIP Erasmus+ offered not only valuable academic and practical experience for this international group of students, but also a rich social programme. Participants had the opportunity to explore historic Bratislava, enjoy a boat trip on the Danube to Devin Castle, and share a dinner featuring traditional Slovak specialties.
Students of the Finance, Banking and Investment study programme at NHF EUBA will have another opportunity to join this programme in October 2026 in Heilbronn, Germany.
