Národohospodárska fakulta EU v Bratislave sa v dňoch 3. až 7. novembra 2014 stala hostiteľomMedzinárodného zasadnutia akcie COST IS 1102: „Social Services, Welfare State and Places. The restructuring of social services in Europe and its impacts on social and territorial cohesion and governance.“, ktoré sa uskutočnilo pod záštitou rektora Ekonomickej univerzity v Bratislave Rudolfa Siváka, ministra práce sociálnych vecí a rodiny SR Jána Richtera a primátora hlavného mesta SR Bratislava Milana Ftáčnika.
